Contractor Online Community Moderator

Our client, an international company based in central London, is currently seeking an On-Line Community Moderator to join their busy Moderation team.
This will be a 12 month contract position.
The main purpose of this role is to monitor all content across community channels to ensure company regulations are adhered to. It is an excellent opportunity for self-motivated individuals who have a passion for on-line communication and gaming.
For this position it is essential to demonstrate an excellent level of written English language skills: the ability to understand, edit and respond to on line content will be your primary responsibility.
*Monitoring all content across community channels, including text, video, image and audio content
*Monitoring on-line forums to ensure that content is within company regulations, editing or removing posts that are in breach of these
*Maintaining an on-line presence and contributing to discussions – educating users regarding rules and regulations
*Creating weekly reports for management, analysis of forum activities and topics
*Reporting IT related issues to the Community Coordinator
*Analysis of community behaviour and postings, commenting in a weekly report to be submitted to the Community Team Leader
*Highlighting interesting threads, posts and forum characters
*Escalation of community issues and reporting these to the Team Leader and other departments when necessary
*Previous experience in a gaming environment
*Excellent IT skills including MS Office, Lotus Notes
*Passion for gaming, and good knowledge of computer games
*Experience of vBulletin, Jive or other forum software would be an advantage
*Experience/Knowledge of on-line communication, net and forum culture an advantage
*Flexibility on working hours shift work allocated on rotational pattern, some weekend work may required
